Using Sustainability Works 2005 to comply with Housing Corporation requirements for housing association development, regeneration and policy staff.

This 1/2 day hands on course will:

• Give you a general introduction to sustainable development
• Outline the UK scenario, telling you about the relevant guidance, legislation and regulation which affects your work

It will also show you how to use the software application to:

• write a sustainable development policy as required by the Housing Corporation.
• ensure compliance with the Housing Corporation’s Sustainability Toolkit
• predict the required EcoHomes ratings when applying for funding as required by the Housing Corporation

The session will be in a small group, led by one of our sustainable development experts. As well as demonstration sessions led by one of our team, you will have a chance to use the software first hand in our computer suite. The session gives you a chance to network and share your experiences with other housing association professionals as well as direct access to our team of sustainable development experts, who will be able to answer your questions.

Suitable for newcomers to the field of sustainable development as well as experienced practitioners.
