Standards Check

Use it to check how your development compares to standards and benchmarks such as BRE EcoHomes 2005, Housing Quality Indicators and the Housing Corporation’s own Sustainability Toolkit.

Once you have created a project report using project writer, you can quickly generate an EcoHomes prediction showing which EcoHomes rating your project is likely to achieve, saving you time and duplication. You will still need to carry out a full EcoHomes assessment using a licenced assessor but the Standards check feature of the application gives you a rapid evaluation of whether you can expect to achive “pass”, “good”, “very good” or excellent” on a particular scheme – particularly useful for housing providers who need to demonstrate an EcoHomes standard as a funding requirement.

For housing providers working to the requirements of the Housing Corporation, use standards check to produce a Sustainability Toolkit report complying with their requirements. Additionally you can generate a Housing Quality Indicator report which can be used as a checklist when completing the mandatory HQI return.
